Expo Milano 2015

The 2015 Milan Universal Exposition is an international event that showcases tradition, creativity, and the spirit of innovation from countries all over the world. The theme chosen for Expo Milan, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life,” shows its concern for the world. In contrast to the topic selected by the Expo, the Japanese Pavilion, under a theme of “Harmonious Diversity,” will be hosting a variety of displays embodying a regard for nature and the gratitude of people towards food. The Japanese Pavilion will also introduce others to the pleasures of Japanese food and their world-renowned food technology through authentic Japanese restaurants and the Japanese Pavilion’s restaurants in the food court, giving visitors a chance to experience Japanese cuisine.

The Japanese Pavilion’s restaurants will make use of TRI-R lights for illumination.

Throughout history, all living things have benefited from the light of the sun, and in addition to naturally revealing the beauty of ingredients, dishes, and utensils, the use of TRI-R lights sends a message that food and health cannot be separated.
